Consortium Overview

The rare-earths sector comprises a number of constituencies, each with their own needs and challenges. Innovation Metals Corp. (IMC) plans to service the sector through its creation of independent, centralized separation facilities, and the provision of a transparent platform for the auction of finished products. IMC will form a consortium of companies and other entities in the rare-earths sector, to help them take advantage of the benefits of these new services, without constraining them in any way. Specifically:

• Rare-earth producers will be able to reduce rare-earth project capital and operating expenditures via IMC’s low-cost tolling program;
• Rare-earth consumers will have guaranteed access to finished products, without being locked into fixed prices;
• Rare-earth traders will have the opportunity to secure specific production capacity for their customers; and
• Government stockpile managers will have the ability to guarantee security of supply through acquisition of specific production capacity.
